We translate open technical questions into experiments, develop focused prototypes, and compare results against explicit criteria. The outcome is evidence that supports a development decision, not simply a demonstration that appears convincing.
Can the available data support the intended task? Does a proposed model perform better than a simpler baseline? Can an agent complete the workflow within acceptable error and cost limits? Does a perception method generalize beyond the examples used during development?

We review relevant approaches and identify candidates suited to the problem and available resources.
This may involve established methods, pretrained models, task-specific learning, retrieval approaches, or alternative system architectures. We document why each candidate is included and which assumptions it is intended to test.
We establish datasets, evaluation procedures, baseline methods, and comparison criteria.
The experiment is designed to distinguish genuine improvement from differences in data, configuration, or test conditions. Where appropriate, we use component-level comparisons to identify which parts of a proposed method contribute to the result.
We build the smallest implementation needed to test the central technical question.
A prototype may cover a document-processing task, agent workflow, predictive model, or perception component. Its boundaries are explicit so a successful experiment is not mistaken for a complete production system.
We compare candidate approaches on relevant quality, latency, resource use, and cost measures.
We inspect failure cases, sensitivity to input changes, and performance across important subsets of the test data. Results are reported with the limitations needed to interpret them appropriately.
We translate findings into a clear recommendation: continue with the selected approach, revise the method, collect additional data, or avoid further investment under the current conditions.
Where development is justified, we identify the integration, testing, and operational work that remains.
We aim to make the work reproducible through versioned code, documented configurations, dataset descriptions, and recorded experimental results.
The final report separates observations from interpretations and distinguishes demonstrated capability from assumptions that have not yet been tested.
Depending on scope, deliverables can include an experimental plan, working prototype, source code, benchmark results, failure analysis, and a technical recommendation.
